Old Dubai: the creek, souks, and Al Fahidi. Cross the creek by abra water taxi for pocket change, then wander the gold and spice souks and the restored Al Fahidi lanes. Best in the cooler months and evenings.

A dhow or marina evening cruise. Old-style wooden dhows ply the creek and the marina at night. Tourist-dinner-cruise energy, but the skyline from the water earns it.
